I was inspired by Amber to think about things that have been making me happy and that I am grateful for during this difficult time in quarantine. We are now going into week 6 of staying at home, and I would be lying if I said it has been easy. Here are 5 things I am feeling grateful for this week.
Being able to go outside- I am so thankful that I am able to get outside each day and get some fresh air! I know this is not a reality for everyone right now, especially those in cities that are badly affected by the virus. I feel so much better after I go for a walk and actually leave my house!
FaceTime- FaceTime has played a huge part in keeping me sane! I am not quarantined with any friends or family, so it’s so important to be able to contact them all and see them! I use FaceTime multiple times on a daily basis to speak to my boyfriend, Spencer, as well as my family in Australia and New Zealand.
Pinterest: I have a new found love for Pinterest! I am finding so many fun DIY projects, recipes to try, inspiration for decorating my new college apartment, and so much more!! Pinterest is a great way to pass the time, and it makes me happy to be seeing new things. I find social media can be negative a lot of the time, but Pinterest is a really safe and happy place for me. You can follow my Pinterest here, I know I am going to be posting a lot more on there, especially things that are related to the blog!
My Job- I am grateful that I am still able to work and earn money during this time. Being able to work also means that I am not as bored as I would otherwise be, and has helped me to not feel quite a stir crazy! I have bene coming up with some fun projects to do with the kids I nanny, such as tie dying and painting canvas for my new room!
Podcasts- There is not a whole lot of new things happening, so I am so grateful that new podcasts are still coming out weekly. I look forward to Monday’s and Thursday’s when I know a new episode of my favorite podcast– Chicks in the Office, will be out! I love Chicks in the Office and other Barstool podcasts such as Call Her Daddy. I am going to listen to Schnitt Talk next! I also love Off the Vine With Kaitlyn Bristowe.
What are 5 things you are grateful for?
As always, thanks for reading!- Tay xo
